Today is a good day.

Today is a day that the world remembers a step taken in the direction toward liberty and justice…

But like I’ve said again and again, our eating is not equal. Not only does racism abound in our cities, our schools, and our neighborhoods — but its hands stretch into our kitchens and onto our plates.

We’ve reached an axiomatic state of the purest need – black communities are hurting, dying due to lack of access and nutrition freedoms that most Americans take for granted.

I won’t stop until food equality is a shining truth in this world. I created Journey Foods to bridge the gap between the modern kitchen and the food desert. We will continue to fight for justice until every person at every dinner table is free.

It is a joyful day – and know that we are here to fight with you.
